Maple Bunk Bed 

A client wanted a bunk bed, a One-over-Two, which incorporated elements of the Arts & Crafts style. For reasons not entirely clear, they wanted it made of hard maple. So we did it for them. The result was later stained to a color near to mahogany, and finished with gloss urethane.

A lot of sleeping space in a pretty small footprint.

Through tenon joinery for the posts and rails, mortise and tenon connections throughout.
