Dictionary Stand 

 

Those who actually read see words they don't know from time to time. Which makes a dictionary stand essential. In the view of some, the bigger the dictionary the better. This stand solves two unrelated issues: Where to keep that thumping huge dictionary so you can get at it on a moment's notice, and where to keep CDs available, organized, and out of the way. [Dictionary Stand Photo] 34" tall. Dictionary surface 11" by 21-1/2". Made of plain red oak, not fumed, finished with one coat of shellac and three coats of urethane varnish. Top and bottom shelves secured by tenons and tusks. Lower shelves provide storage for as many as 384 CDs in jewel cases. Lower shelves T-grooved to accept matching sliding bookends.
