Aurora Shelves

Efficiency is great, but once in a while attractive design trumps it, doesn't it?  If not, we'd all be using gray metal shelves for everything.  And these are emphatically NOT gray metal shelves.

In this case, the client treked all the way to Phoenix from Los Angeles to talk with us about the shelves.  Admittedly it was in the dead of winter, so the sacrifice might not be as massive as otherwise, but the trip was, never the less,  just for the purpose of commissioning the shelves.  At the end of the discussion we'd come up with a trapezoidal design that offered a considerable degree of utility and a double helping of Arts & Crafts style. 

Gray metal shelves be damned.
